Howlin' Dogs

06.08.17

Howlin' Dogs present their new LP, a conceptual album and musical research where they deal with the conflict between the African American community and the white community in the United States. This project has been done through Work Songs, melodies that were sung during the daily tasks from the time of slavery to the 70's of the last century, where they no longer sang them as slaves but as convicts condemned to forced labor in the prisons of the United States. The Work Songs represent a form of emancipation or hope for those people subjected to extreme working conditions and who lived in a total lack of freedom.

Howlin' Dogs is composed of the prestigious musicians Smoking Bambino, Lluís Figueras, Cheka, Jordi Ruiz "Popi" and Enrique Teruel.
